Frequently Asked Questions

Spay and Neuter Clinic Information:

  • All pets must be between 8 weeks and 5 years of age and over 2 lbs.
  • Pet must be up to date on all vaccines including rabies, dhppc, bordatella, and current heartworm test.  Cats: rabies and fvrcp.
  • Checks must be presented with valid picture ID of check signer. NO CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS!
  • Cats must come and go in a carrier. If multiple cats are brought, please put them in individual carriers.
  • Please make sure your pet has no food or water after 10 pm the night before surgery.
  • No pets with health issues will be accepted. Pets that need additional care can visit out adjacent clinicThe Animal Health Care Clinic.
  • Spays and Neuters only.
  • For full-service veterinary care, please call our affiliated clinic, The Animal Health Care Clinic.
  • Only surgical patients will be given vaccines. Vaccines will automatically be given to surgical patients who are not current on vaccines.
  • Proper paperwork must be presented at drop off to prove vaccines have been given.
  • If official written proof is not provided, we will administer all necessary vaccines the day of surgery.
  • Pets are to be dropped off between 7 and 8 am, and picked up between 3 and 5 pm.
  • All services must be paid for at time of pick up. No payments will be taken at time of drop off.
  • We ask that you please give at least 48 hours notice if you are going to cancel your appointment and wish to receive future services with us.
